Kajiman Praja Nepalese Rhino Poacher Caught. Various sources from across the web are reporting the capture of the notorious Nepalese Rhino poacher Kajiman Praja. Along with four other family members Praja 32 is accused of killing 15 one-horned rhinos in Nepal's Chitwan National Park over the last 5-6 years. Estimates for Rhino numbers in Nepal range from 378 to 435. So the capture of a high profile poacher and trader in illegal animal parts equates to a significant success in the fight for the survival of threatened species.
“The World Wildlife Fund for Nature described Kajiman Praja as the deadliest rhino poachers of the time for his violent exploits.”
"We are very happy that CIB has nabbed a kingpin who single-handedly rendered conservation efforts ineffective," said Diwakar Chapagain, the Nepalese country director of WWF.
Welcome to the Egyptianfish wall of shame. Kajiman Praja.
